Rachel Fleming, MS, OTR/L
Rachel Fleming is a pediatric occupational therapist and has dedicated her career to working with children from birth through adolescence, helping them succeed in their daily occupations. She is licensed in New York and Connecticut and registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Before founding The Therapy Nest, Rachel was the Director of Occupational Therapy at Dynamic Solutions, a private pediatric therapy clinic in Brooklyn, New York. Before Dynamic Solutions, she was the in-house occupational therapist at The Schenck School, a private K-6 school for children with dyslexia in Atlanta, Georgia. Before starting her pediatric occupational therapy practice, Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University.
In addition to her degrees, Rachel has specialized training and certifications in various pediatric occupational therapy evaluation and treatment methods, including:

Rachel's clinical experiences include: handwriting difficulties, fine motor delay, visual perceptual difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, dyspraxia, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, autism spectrum disorders, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, infant developmental delays, torticollis, down syndrome, fragile X, cerebral palsy, and developmental coordination disorder.
Rachel lives in Rye, New York with her husband, two young children and a lazy, old dog.
